Men Skin Care Routine

Men Skin Care Routine

As a man, you probably feel intimidated by all of those lotions and potions out on the market. How do you select the right product for your skin may not be that easy at first, I recommend getting a facial and ask for advice. Many men have been taught to use bar soap, scrub it weekly and skip the moisturizer.  Many still use alcohol-based aftershave lotion because it feels tingly. That's a good thing in you might think. On the contrary, your skin becomes red and flaky while making you look older. Taking care of your face doesn't have to be complicated, our skincare recommendations are limited to three simple steps. Our Skin Care Products are plant-based and have a very light citrusy scent.

Combination to oily skin

1. Cleanse with AHA Cleanser or Triple Exfoliating Cleanser(this product can be used as a shaving cream to avoid razor bumps) 2. Herbal Astringent 3. Citrus Moisturizer. But if you want to look healthy and glowing in addition to looking younger you might want to add one more step which is a serum- Firming Peptide Serum (anti-aging).

Dry and flaky skin

1. Cleanse with AHA Cleanser or Triple Exfoliating Cleanser( never use bar soap on your skin). Bonus: You can lather the wash and use it in place of shaving cream. 2. Herbal Astringent(alcohol-free) 3. Hydra Marine Moisturizer 4. Firming Peptide Serum to heal the redness and rebuild collagen. Avoid hot water which can strip the skin from its natural oils. Use warm or even lukewarm water to rinse the cleanser off.

Each day, your skin is abrased by the shaving, exposed to a harsh environment and unfriendly germs. At night, you sweat that into a pillowcase and wake up feeling sticky and notice lines under the eyes. It needs a good wash as you wake up and then go to bed.

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends avoiding scrubbing the skin with harsh, gritty substances to avoid disrupting the pH balance. Rather, use fruit acid cleansers to gently exfoliate and remove the oils by melting them out of the pores.

Products marked oil-free and non-comedogenic (non-pore-blocking) are easier on the skin but contain synthetic oils which can make the T-zone appear shiny after just a couple of hours. Oil-free simply means that it does not contain natural oils but chemicals that mimic the oil. If you are suffering from occasional acne breakouts you want to use a spot treatment of salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. If you are past 25 and have an ongoing problem with acne you should see a skincare specialist to tame the acne. In case of acne skin, you want to follow the Combination To Oily Skin Care Routine mentioned above.

Caring for your skin is definitely worth the effort, not only you'll look good but you will feel good. Your face is (usually) the first thing people notice. Don't worry if you are not to up to speed with all of those products I have mentioned earlier, go ahead and give it a try today.
